SPORTS: Lone Star's Germany Hits Rocks

Several Liberia’s Lone Star players have been denied German visa because, sources say, the players’ ages in their passports don’t present their physical appearance.
German consular office is suggesting that the players are too old for their young ages and therefore don’t qualify for German visa.
Lone Star had planned a training camp leading to the Gambian match in the opening stages of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ in Leipzig, Germany from 12 - 23 May.
Some of the players denied include Murphy Nagbe, James Koko Lomell, Melvin King, George Baysah, Isaiah Benson and Steve Mennoh.
Liberia football authority called off the trip because these are key players whose presence are essential to the team preparation, therefore making the trip without them is not only vile and despicable, it’s a hitch to the team preparation with just two weeks to the crunch Gambia ties.[center]
